Stephanie Lock is a born and raised Miami-based artist. Originally set on becoming a veterinarian, she carried over her passion for animals into her works, primarily focusing on animal subjects and narratives. The bulk of Lock’s work is digital media, including but not limited to illustration, concept art, animation, comics, and video game design. Lock draws inspiration from nature, mythology, and symbolism to craft her stories and characters. Lock has exhibited work in the MDC Student Show in 2018. She attended Miami Dade College, where she received her AA (2018). Lock is currently in her last year at New World School of the Arts, where she is studying to receive her BFA in Art & Technology, with a minor in Art History (2022).
